I originally designed the character to be an Experiment Boss for one of Barker's underground strongholds. First inspired by nyanko-chain's "Hole in the Sky", he's pretty much the lovechild of Pyramid Head and Karl Ruprecht Kroenen.
He's Vespyr's new pet.
